One of our long-time favorites because it works for both chicken and any cut of pork. This seasoning has won the world’s largest BBQ competition four times and is a staple in every top team’s seasoning kit. Sweet, mildly spicy, and evenly granulated, the creators intended it as a chicken seasoning, but it turned out to be an amazing blend for pork. Whether grilling or smoking, Yardbird rub gives the meat a great appearance and always leaves it nice and mahogany red.
Pro tip
Apply the rub to the meat and let it sit until it has liquefied. About 45 minutes to an hour is perfectly sufficient.
