On the flat side of the plate you can cook bacon, eggs, potatoes, onions and vegetables, while the other side allows you to brown meat and fish on a high heat. The plate sits directly on top of the grill rack of a 22-inch (55.9 cm) grill.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"354\" data-end=\"572\">The cast iron retains and distributes heat evenly, the porcelain-enamelled surface is smooth and well suited for high heat frying. The large cooking surface leaves plenty of room for side dishes (mushrooms, onions, peppers) and main dishes. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"903\" data-end=\"917\"><strong data-start=\"903\" data-end=\"917\">Use of<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"919\" data-end=\"1136\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Preheat the plate with the barbecue before you put the food on it.
