Napoleon premium PRO ceramic pizza stone
Napoleon Premium pizza stone is suitable for use on gas and charcoal grills as well as in conventional ovens. Using a porous surface, the stone absorbs moisture from the dough so that the pizza base, pastry and pies remain light and crispy all at once. The stone distributes the heat evenly, helping to avoid areas that cook too quickly or remain raw.
The natural stone surface does not retain any flavours or aromas, so the flavour of last week’s garlic paste will not carry over to the next bake.
Use and maintenance
Preheat the pizza stone on the grill or in the oven before baking. Place the pizza or other pastry on the hot stone and bake according to the recipe. Allow to cool completely before removing the stone to avoid temperature shock.
After use, wash the paving stone by hand in warm water without any detergent and, if necessary, wipe gently with a soft brush or a sponge. Avoid scrubbing and soapy water to avoid damaging the natural surface of the stone. It is not recommended to apply oil to the stone. Over time, the stone will develop a use mark, which is normal and will improve the baking result. Also, over time, the stone will become darker and less tacky with use, similar to a cast iron pan.
