Cooklounge BBQ Hot Rub

Cooklounge is a VERY well-known name in Europe, especially in the competition circuit. This is the 2022 and 2023 European season champion. Hot rub, as the name suggests, is fiery stuff to use as a base layer for adding spice to meat.

This rub has a very fine consistency, and applying it to meat should be done rather carefully, because going overboard can quickly make all meats too spicy. It’s suitable for adding “zing” to any meat.

Pro tip

Apply it to the meat so that the meat is still visible underneath; then things will be balanced after cooking. It’s suitable for ribs with a layer of sweet rub on top.
